To provide a place for grieving children, families and friends to find comfort and support. We provide peer services such as support groups and family events as well as offer resource information and educating others we promote children’s grief awareness so that no child or individual ever feels alone in their grief.

DAWN DUSK Hosted by HUGs from Cara (Help Understanding Grief) Memorial luminaries will be on display at Hoopes Park Friday, December 10th at dusk through Sunday, December 12th at dawn.
Due to COVID-19, all meetings in 2020 have been cancelled. We will re-evaluate in January 2021. Mainly support meeting held First Thursday of every month, from 6:30-8pm.
An international observance created in 2008 by the Highmark Caring Place, Children's Grief Awareness Day is observed every year on the third Thursday in November.
